Hi everyone,

I got three hens and a Rooster for myself. I know they are mixed but any possibility of identifying the possible mixes?

I have a feeling my Roo is a Black Copper Maran but I might be wrong?

TIA

I don't know breeds, but I can tell you two things: your hens have a lot of salmon and splash markings, may be mixed breed.
your boy is probably not a Maran, because they have feathered legs.

Just an update, thank you all for replying.

We narrowed it down to the Rooster being a definite Welsummer.
My blue beauty is an Easter Egger and the brown beauty possibly Golden Comet. Surprisingly they all doubled in size so we suspect they weren't eating properly.
Our speckled chicken however has to be a bantam because she's still small but also gained weight and we think although a backyard chicken, she must have some Sussex in her.
