I have never asked someone to get me something to eat. I mean I may have when I was a kid but can't think of ever doing so in the last 15 years.
The thought wouldn't even cross my mind.

You made me hungry!! So I made some instant ramen with canned green beans and cheese curls. That doesn't count as "making something to eat" IMO; it's in the reheating leftovers category.
