A therian is someone who identifies as a specific non-human animal. Spiritually, psychologically, and emotionally, they relate to the essence and behaviors of this animal, even though they don't have the physiology to match.

So now I'm curious.
If they identify as a non human animal then why would they be here on a chicken forum instead of out doing animal stuff like looking for some chickens to eat?

As I said it's a "Spiritual" Thing, we know that we're humans it's just that we would have liked to be in an animal body..
We do Quads, not killing other animals, try doing your research because the only thing we do that comes close to an animal is Quadrobics and wearing gear.
Try doing research, it'll help you understand better.
I hope what I told you helps a litttle bit more.

Don't get your tail twisted. I never said that or even hinted it.
Being on a forum etc. just seemed like a human thing to do so was confused why someone that identified as non human would want to be instead of being out doing non human things.
I guess I have a different idea of what "identifying as" means and surely my idea of what's "spiritual" is different from yours.
