What is the female specific color pattern, if you have the time, and don't mind sharing? I'm new to chickens since May and am trying to learn all I can. I have two SLWs in my little flock that look similar.
In laced birds the males will have large patches of the main color so...
Silver laced males tend to have a lot of white in the head, neck, shoulder areas.

The last one is "spangled" but it holds true there too.
It is actually pretty interesting.
There are others that have male specific patterning like the dark Brahma and many of the old English game bantams.
