YES, you will definitely be stepping in it if they free-range! Ours free-range, and there is poop everywhere. I think they are happier (adn probably healthier) free-ranging though

I thought my neighbors chickens was bad...but htey have a concrete patio that they would have to hose off untill they built their run. we only have grass, so it will be a little easier...

I should hurry up and get some more birds before it gets to be a problem and my fiance will definitly not let me get any more!
