I'm so old I Remember when:

Interesting. I actually love tele-health stuff.
So much better than going to a doctor in person! I also like being able to read my medical records and test results myself and not have to rely on someone interpreting it all for me.
To me it is banking and credit cards that freak me out on line!
Especially being able to do it on your phone. I know some people who should never be allowed to have banking from their phone capabilities. And if your phone gets stolen, well, who knows what the thief can do.

At 73¢ per stamp (US) you can get a basic cell phone plan cheaper with the added bonus of hearing your friend's voice.
The letter writing was back in the day before the internet. It was around the time 1980....something.
My school pocket money was like $2.
Potatoes scallop was $0.20 a piece and my friend and I loved it while waiting for the train home from school.

What my friend and I wrote in a letter to each other is not the same as conversation on the phone. There is something sweet and lovely in the whole process of letter writing - the stationery to write on, the act of sitting quietly to write, thought gathered and realisations of those thoughts as pen put down on paper.

These days, I get email Christmas wishes, text messages endlessly on Christmas day and new year day. I would love to get a paper Christmas card that come in the snail mail, there is a reason to open the letter box, see a human handwriting. I am so old I remember about these lovely things. :)

A “Smart TV” listens to you so that the advertisers knows which ads to show you. “Smart” appliances do the same.
Our gas station just got those smart pumps a couple weeks ago. Fortunately I found they have a mute button.

I wonder, every devices/appliances.e.tc.. are so smart now. Only a small percentage of the human race is creating all these smart devices, what are the rest of us doing?

My handwriting is terrible for many years now because I type instead of using a pen to write. Now touch screen, only use a few fingers. In my grandma's nursing home they often tell her, you lose what you don't use.
