In between stage? From a newbie :)

:welcome

Hi, what are your current temps? When I had a flock in FL that was too big for their brooder but it was still chilly at night, I put a huddle box in the coop. It was basically just a cardboard box upside down with a door cut into it and with bedding inside...they could "huddle" in there when/if they got chilly and their body heat would warm them in that small space. It's an economical way of providing a bit of warmth.

I had a similar issue when I first hatched my chicks. I planned the hatch and the brood, but they got big quicker than I realized. It was mid-February when they were 3 weeks and the temps were still down in the 40's at night. I wasn't comfortable leaving them out at night. I was more worried about if it rained and the temp was that low, if they could handle it. I set this up https://a.co/d/iegUxFm, https://a.co/d/70GxSHw and took them outside in the warmer parts of the day so they could peck around and stretch there little wings. I only had 5, so this worked for me, but a similar setup might be what you're looking for.
