Information on how to post videos to BYC

Hi, I was wondering if there is some way to make it more obvious to folks that people can post videos directly through BYC without using youtube or somesuch? I'm not particularly computer savvy and would normally assume I'm just overlooking something obvious, but every time I see the question arise, the response from many other users is always, "You can't, use youtube," or something to that effect. When I needed to post a video myself I used the search feature to find out how, and almost all the results came up with that same answer in the negative. Even the thread I did find with the correct information on how to do it had the information a post below another post with someone advising that you can't upload videos directly to BYC. As someone who would not have posted a video at all had I not been able to do it directly through BYC, I'd love for there to be an easier way for folks to find out that yes, you can post a video to the BYC forums without using a separate video hosting site, and how exactly to do that. At the very least, is there some way of making it so that when the topic is searched, the first things that pop up aren't the threads on how it supposedly can't be done? Again, not computer savvy, so I've no clue if this is an easy request or not.

It's interesting - not once does this pop up as a result when I try to find how to post videos.

If one does an advanced search of this forum with the keyword "video", & selects "Search title only", "date", & "Display results as threads" the guide is the third thread:

If one sorts by prefix (How to Sort by Prefix), the guide is the fifth thread.

I've added How to Post Pictures to the Gallery to a bunch of threads in this forum with the word "video" in the title, so hopefully more people can find it.

I cheated as I knew I'd seen it before, so just scrolled down below your post. About 11 posts after yours is one.

There's another down below there somewhere as that wasn't the one I remembered, but the link was in there too.

You wouldn't know there'd be already instructions here in this forum necessarily but I'm always reading and saving stuff like a packrat lol.

Glad you got 'er figured out though as not knowing how to do something is very frustrating. Maybe we need a separate thread of @casportpony's or anyone's help posts like that one, like the "How To Do This on BYC" posts, then we'd just go there.
