We inherited a green-cheeked conure (after my mother-in-law's passing). She had the bird for 20 years. It is in the room with my daughter's fantail pigeon and budgie. (Each bird has an individual cage - the pigeon and conure have large flight cages)
The pigeon and budgie hang out together in the room with my daughter, and get along quite well. My question is this: will the conure get along with the other birds, or is it best to keep him in his cage? We've had him about three weeks, and he is quite social - interacts with us, and seems very content. He seems enamored with the pigeon, when she is near his cage. He is almost timid around the little budgie, and not too interested in him. I know nothing about conures. Any information, thoughts, is appreciated.
