Anyone know what this could be. Left leg had fish hook stuck in it. A day or two after, she started walking on left leg to limp on with right leg. Treated with 14 days of sulfa drugs per vet. Epsom soaks.
Tried to splint because foot was curling. Just all confused.

Here are pics.

Poor girl! Her leg looks pretty swollen. She probably has an infection.
I wonder if it would be treated like bumblefoot? Not sure.
I think there's hope, I've seen some bumble foot cases worse than that.
I'm not sure what to do, maybe @Miss Lydia or @Jenbirdee could help??

So the leg not the foot had the fish hook stuck in it? It looks like she has bumble foot too that huge brown place on the bottom of her foot is that a scab? Most of the time when there is infection Baytril is the drug we recommend. If you want to try another antibiotic you can order Baytril online.
Here is info on Baytril If you want ask your vet if they would rec it and prescribe it for your duck. Or I can give you the website to order. As for the bumble that will have to be treated also

And yes. To answer your question. The hook was stuck in the left leg. It started to swell. Then the right foot started to make her limp. Although the left foot was the one with the hook in it.
