Yes I’m back with another problem! As a first time flock owner I couldn’t have predicted how hard it would be to keep my chickens out of harms way and for animal lover it’s really difficult to watch this kind of stuff happen. I found this poor girl half pulled through the chain link fence of my coop. Her face looked wet so my assumption is that a snake tried to pull her through. No blood or cuts in the skin but she’s been shaking all day and seems completely traumatized. She hasn’t moved or walked since I found her and I can’t convince her to eat or drink. I moved her inside my heated barn so she felt safe, but I'm not sure what exactly is wrong other than that fact that she’s traumatized. When I pick her up she doesn’t cry or show any signs that anything is broken. Any suggestions on how to help her recover and start drinking some water? What kind of predator would be your guess?
Thanks,
Hannah

*Also the reason the water is orange in the photo is because I added the baby chick electrolytes that I gave my chickens when they were young.*
