Injured Pullet

My friend has woken up to her pullet being injured.
I have never experienced anything like this apart from a pecked chick once.
She said there is a flap of skin and the injury seems to go further underneath if she pulls it up??
Will this heal on its own? Or what could she do to help it? Or does it need a vet?
Would two young roosters (4 months old) more likely be the cause or older hens?
2 roosters and I think maybe 4-6 pullets/hens.

If there isn't much space there's always a chance of that. If it's deep it could get infected so you'll want her out of the coop and in a clean area. I would keep her away from the others until she heals and you have a better idea what's going on. Try to clean her up with a warm wet rag as best you can.

I have had this happen before, i would spray with Vetricyn and put some BlueKote on it, but only the bluekote if she is in the same enclosure as the others, which she shouldn't be. Keep her in a seperate cage.

I have seen her coop, I think its it's huge for that amount of chickens (old horse stables).

Could be from the cockerels, hard to know.

Flush the wound with saline or an antiseptic like Chlorhexidine. Apply triple antibiotic ointment to the wound.

Place her in a kennel within the coop/run with her own food/water so she can be near her flock.
