I’m so sorry to hear that, you really did so well, you should be proud of the care you were able to provide her with. Sometimes there is just more going on than we can see. She knew nothing but love and kindness in her last moments with you. And in return, she gave you the experience of raising chicks should you ever choose to.

We understand the hurt, it isn’t silly. They’re here for such little time but take a huge part of us sometimes.
