Inspired to keep indoor duck

After watching this video on YouTube, I am inspired to keep a small white call duck as an indoor pet. What type of bedding should I use for this Amazon basics cage? And how much water do small ducks need for 8 hours a day?

you NEED to keep atleast two ducks, ducks can't be indoors 24/7 (you need to have a yard for them to play in daily), they need to have a swimming pool, and they need a much bigger cage then that (that's too small for even a guinea pig)

not at all trying to be mean, but you really need to research before adopting ducks

FIRST of all, the Amazon basics cage is 49 inches long and not the standard 30 inch guinea pig cage. The reviews on Amazon are nearly five stars. SECOND call ducks are small ducks.

Call ducks need a minimum of 12 square feet of floor space each per duck in their run, and half that inside their pen. However, a little more space won't go unappreciated if necessary. You can purchase a specifically designed duck house, or chicken coop with an attached run.

that's still not big enough for one call duck, and you need to have atleast two. i know how small call ducks are and i know that wouldn't work for them. ducks need a yard, ducks need a pool.

again, i'm not trying to be mean.

nope. CALL DUCKS need 12 square feet of space each, larger ducks would need more. keeping a duck in a tiny cage all day is animal cruelty. getting a duck just because you want one and not making sure they have a good life is selfish.

Where are you getting 8 hours a day? It's not going to sleep the other 16 hours

Yeah sure, and keeping a parrot in a cage is also selfish because all captive animals should be released back into the wild.
