Hi. Chickengr. I lost 2 old hens this spring. They were about 6 years old. I also lost 4 other hens. We had three weeks of over 100 degrees F and it was hard on them. I put fans in the pens and ice in their water. It has been a really hot summer. As for me, I have my good days and not so good days. The last few days hasn't been good. I hurt so bad. I sit down and I can hardly get back up. I am still going though.

Thank you, I am hanging in there. I have been missing you guys. I haven't hatched any chicks this year. I think I still have about 17 hens and 3 roosters.

It states they are only sold in pairs.. is there a contact that you can ask about the charge difference?
