Introduceing my female domestic duck to the new ducks

So I have a female domestic duck and need to introduce her to the new ducks. She had a head injury and was pretty much scalped. Its almost healed but I need to get her back outside for she's been in the house since march. How do I do this and should I wait till she's healed up entirely

i would wait until healed fully other ducks may pick at it. as far as introducing depends on a persons opinion. in the end no matter how you do it there is going to be a little bit of duck fights to establish pecking order personally i just let them together right away with a little supervision that it doesn't get out of hand. i never had a problem otherwise separate cage next to each other so they can see each other for a few days.

If you want to get her back outside and want to wait until her head is completely healed before putting her in with the others make her a space next to the other ducks so she can be outside but not with them for now. Dog crate inside the coop for nighttime and DogX pens work great for making a separate area when introducing back to the flock.
