Hello everyone! I’ve been an avid reader on this site for awhile now. It’s been my go to for chicken questions. Although I haven’t created an account until now. I know that chickens can stop laying during times of stress, we’ve had a fox get one of our girls and everyone continued laying like normal.. her sister even started laying the day after.
But I’m wondering if my hens would stop laying because my rooster is sick? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. He’s never been sick before and his hens love him so I’m just wondering if that could be the issue. Photo of my beautiful boy for attention

(Also we are treating him. It’s a respiratory infection but he’s acting different so I’m thinking this may be why) he’s a rescue so age is unknown.
I had him first, then decided to get him hens once he settled in.
