Hi everyone!

I am super new to chickens and have only begun this journey a week ago. I bought a coop on fb marketplace with plans to paint and clean it up during the Spring/Summer but the seller included his two chickens so now I'm finding myself obsessively learning all that I can to make their environment most comfortable. I'm enjoying all the problem solving situations so far and it's been very fulfilling to see my new chickens happy.

I'm located in New England and plan to move the coop to a more permanent spot in my yard as soon as this snow melts. Very excited for that!

Another exciting thing in my life right now is that I'm expecting my first child. With only 2-3 weeks left until baby boy's due date I don't have as much time as I'd like to read up on everything chicken, so I really appreciate any advice you all can offer me here.

I look forward to learning and connecting with you all!
