Thank you. I think our only recent losses were far out of our control. We lost the chick today that got pushes out of the nest but on reflection it looks like she may have been developing wrong or she was just pushed out by an inexperienced hen. The other one somehow got out of their zone, and we think the dog may have gotten her. He's a good dog and does great with predators but when the chickens get out, he tries to catch them and obviously isn't gentle. The only other loss we had; we think a weasel got her while the dog was sleeping. Definitely not the more horrifying losses that I knew were from my own inexperience.
