I do! Sorta.... I am avid to help people get the most from their relationhip with their cat. Cats communicate by bites almost as much as meows. I teach people about how to train the bites so they are almost nonexistent and when they are using the bite to communicate, that it won't hurt even the most sensitive. But maybe this is more about training humans? A key tip is to put all of the cats four feet on something, like pressed into your chest if carrying a cat that would otherwise bite to get put down. Or placing them four on the floor if the biting got too rough during pets or play. Cats will train to go in water, beg, walk on leashes... whatever you do with a dog except maybe pulling a sled (wee tiny one?). Feral cats can and do get trained. They have to have a patient human that can just start with talking. Almost all spayed cats will naturally seek out a human that feeds them and will calmly talk to them.Do you train your cats? I've only successfully trained my cats to beg, haha. I think I'd have better results training my chickens (well they know how to beg, too.)
It's nice to have you here! Thanks for joining and welcome to BackYard Chickens!
