1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens? Yes, I am new to chickens! We got our first chicks about 4 or 5 weeks ago.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now? We have 16 chicks.
(3) What breeds do you have? We've got sapphire gems, dark brahmas, Easter/Olive eggers, and wyandottes.
(4) What are your favorite aspects of raising backyard chickens? Knowing where some of our food comes from, and getting to watch their fun personalities!
(5) What are some of your other hobbies? I also grow mushrooms, and I like to watch anime and read.
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share. I have a wife and 2 young kids, and we have a bit of a zoo at our house with the chickens, dogs, cats, and snakes. We both work in healthcare and are in school, so we are pretty busy!
