Is an 84 gram egg particularly large for a leghorn?

No sense borrowing trouble. She will lay what she lays and not really anything you can do about it.

But if you are worried about being egg bound, l have a private theory, as I (knock on wood) have ever had an egg bound hen. But my birds have a large amount of space even in confinement, with perches, roosts and platforms that my birds fly up to, jump down. And my birds are not overly fat.

I have long wondered that if a bird is fed 24/7, and has limited exercise if that does not control to egg binding?

Just a theory, if she had the egg, and that is a big one
