Is BYC more active than usual?

Is it just me, or has there been a significant increase of new threads and new members? Or is it just chick-season traffic? Either way, I'm so happy that new people are finding both BYC and chickens! Hopefully most of these new members stick around!

I was just noticing the past few weeks the increase in the number of unanswered threads. And some of them seem fairly urgent. Hope everyone is getting info somewhere.

I have noticed it being more busy, and there are a lot of new members (welcome, all you newbies!!), since everyone seems to be at home bc of the corona virus

There's a "campaign" going on to help battle this problem. They've already improved the number of unanswered ones by a lot!

I think between everyone being stuck at home and the recent influx of chickens being bought. It’s also spring, so lots of people buying cute baby chicks. Either way, it’s fun having more new people on here! (I’m still fairly new myself )
