Is feed making my chickens sick?

Has anyone had any issues with vitamin deficiency or any illnesses related to CO-OP starter grower feed? I have sick chickens and I’m trying to rule out all causes. I had baby chicks get wry neck… once I changed their feed and supplemented vitamins they got better. I didn’t want the feed to go to waste so I mixed it with show flock developer for my older chickens and now they are getting sick. One has wry neck, 2 have dropped wings and one died today. they all started showing symptoms when I started mixing the starter Grower into their feed. Is it a coincidence or something else. I’m taking the chicken that died to get a narcropsy to find out for sure. They are still eating and drinking and poo looks normal

:idunno Could be...
Hopefully you will get the results back from necropsy.

I'll tell you what I would do. IF I suspected the feed was bad, I'd get rid of it - put it in the trash and use whatever feed they were thriving on.

I’ve noticed a change in feed and nutrition over the past two years. It’s been one thing after another. One deficiency and then another.

I had resorted to starting my chicks on game bird feed 30% protein. That worked for two years. Now my birds on game bird feed have started feather eating. Two got splay leg a week after hatching … that says it all to me. This is an issue with nutrition/absorption. This should NEVER be a concern on 30% game bird with electrolyte water every other day.

I had to give them additional vit B and suppliment proteins.
