I read that the ingredients of Safeguard are the same as Flubenvet. I can't find Flubenvet anywhere and wanted to use it due to no egg withdrawal. If Safeguard is the same as Flubenvet why the egg withdrawal for Safeguard? I'm so confused!!

They are 2 different drugs. Flubenvet is flubendazole, and used in some other countries in the feed for 6 days. Most of England and the UK use it, but it's not available here. SafeGuard and Panacur are fenbendazole, which in chickens are used orally once, and repeated in 10 days. For certain difficult worms it is used 5 days in a row.

I have some, thanks. I just put it in their feed bins. Have you used it?

Wasn't going to turn on the misters today so the sun could heat up the sand under the shade trees, but it's 90 in the shade and they are panting so...the misters are on. I could stand under the misters myself just to cool off while working outside. We've not had rain for weeks and weeks. Our trees and shrubs are stressed and a lot of my St. Augustine grass has turned gold/orange and dying.

The reason I'm concerned about worms is that a few of my GSL and BA are so thin. I've not seen any worms, they eat, drink and act fine but their weight and feathers just look dreadful.

I have a waiting list for eggs and just hate the thought of throwing that many away. I've ordered an incubator and will use some for that.

It's just been one thing after another lately with my chickens. I really do take good care of them. We don't even break even selling eggs, we just can't eat that many ourselves and people just starting buying them from us by word of mouth from those who do.
