Is it normal for my duck to have diarrhea 1-3 times daily?

She’s a layer and has been laying for nearly a week now. She eats well and drinks well. She has snacks like tomatoes mixed with eggs once almost daily, but often a few times everyday. She eats Manna Pro Duck Layer Pellets everyday as her main feed with calcium being high. She’s usually quite lively and messes around a lot. Her poop is usually okay too, she often has dark brown or just brown poop with mixed white stuff in it. I checked and it’s likely because of her feed. It’s normal since her feed is brown too. With calcium being high, the white stuff should be normal. Maybe she’s stressed or there’s some other reason, but that isn’t much of a concern yet. Looking into it though.

Winter just started for us, so maybe she hasn’t gotten used to the weather yet. I’m trying to make the environment more humid for her, so it should be fine. Other than the diarrhea, the white stuff in her poop, and losing some feathers near her eye, she’s pretty okay.

My ducks' poo -- like everyone's ducks' poo -- reflects what they eat. Periodically my pekins -- but not my muscovies -- drink water like they have not drunk for a week. Drinking from their water tubs seems to be some sort of ritual for them and the poo becomes liquid and often white. The poo is all normal but I dont get their need to drink like that!! I wouldnt mind if it wre during the day when they are free ranging. But they do it in the coop too and their bedding gets soaked!

I don't think you have anything to worry about if your ducks have sloppy poo. I would be more worried if they became constipated and passed firm goose-like poops!!!
