Is my “hen” a rooster ?

Not everybody knows everything and this is a very common belief. Let’s be nice, please.
Sorry, wasn't trying to come across as rude at all :) I completely understand that many people do use the terms "chicken" and "hen" as synonyms. I was just trying to poke fun at how much it blew up with everyone correcting each other! I knew @EmmaRainboe knew the difference between pullet vs hen and cockerel vs rooster so my further correction was meant as a satire. I know she did so to simply make it more clear to the OP because it all the terms can be confusing! I mean no disrespect to the OP or anyone else in this thread! I'm sorry if anyone felt belittled at all and I understand how my post could sound looking back!

Aha,
Since they mentioned it was a salmon Faverolle cockerel, I just wanted to clarify that pullets and hens are cream colored instead of white/black/mottled cream
Aha, I just said it looks like a cock to me. I don't ever just look at one aspect, trait, or color to determined gender since many hens can share some characteristics of roosters.

Ahh okay! I’m sure that’s fine! Just didn’t want OP to think we were laughing at them, you know?
