Hey all! This is the first time I've been so lucky, I was able to get an indio gigante chick. Currently the chick is around a month old. It's still almost impossible for me to tell if it's a boy or girl, I dint have prior experience with this breed and heard it's hard to tell so was looking for any help from people who have any! Even just some general info on how they act for you and personally traits would be welcome. Mines name is Tiger!

At a month old nothing is pointing me to say cockerel yet. I'd be more inclined to say pullet but check back in a month as it'll become more obvious then. That has got to be such a fun breed to have!

Its really different tbh! The noises are very low pitch and more like a turkey, plus he's super clumsy and hyper but loves to try and play fight with anything he's taller than. Goofy goofy bird

Oh that is just adorable! Are they more of a meat bird or what's their main purpose as a breed?
