Thank you for all your helpI’m sorry, I think she may be dying. If you lose her I would contact your state vet for a necropsy if you want to see what might have been wrong. The body should be wrapped in plastic bags and kept refrigerated or in a cooler with ice, but don’t freeze it.
I saw some mites on her neck do you think that could cause her to be like thisI’m amazed that she is still with you. She is such a pretty yellow hen. It looks like yellow urates, and probably is from a reproductive disorder or infection. Do you remember when she last laid an egg? Have you tried dipping her beak into the water for half a second, to see if she swallows some? Do you have any Poultry NutriDrench that you could give up to 2 ml orally, slowly? In the vet video on giving medications, she gives some in a syringe into the esophagus.
