Is this 7-day old embryo still alive?

I'm sorry if the lighting on the egg isn't great, but I'm wondering if this one looks alive? There is an embryo there, with veins coming out from the bottom of it and going down towards the bottom of the egg? No sloshing around...stays still, and no blood ring. I dont see a lot of veins, so I wondered.

I’d leave it and if it continues to grow, it’s alive, sometimes that is all you can do in dark eggs.

As a general rule, if you can see veins, it’s probably alive.

If you see veins that look like they are dissolved, I would still give it the benefit of a doubt but it’s probably dead. If you don’t see any veins then I would say it’s dead.
