This is a Texas A & M Roo, named Gonzo because he's always been weird. He was previously separated due to an injury and has become so aggressive, I can't reintroduce him yet (maybe he will be an appetizer and that's ok).
He has been alone now for a month aside from running around with my young silkie chickens. He crows constantly and has become more and more stressed, so tonight I put him in with my Silkie babies. He ran around for a while, they settled out a pecking order and he was doing great for over an hour, eating and drinking and laying down.
Then he put himself in a corner and started making this sound. His head is down (like when they are stressed or being aggressive). His beak was open and he just sat there making this noise for at least 5 minutes. Then it quit. I have never heard this noise before. Any ideas?
