Is this a silkie cross?

Is the cuckoo coloration still being standardized for Silkies? If so, I'm not terribly surprised to see so many faults for this bird. It takes a while to get everything that makes a Silkie a Silkie when you crossbreed to get a new color/pattern.

Yeah I agree, I have a cuckoo rooster silkie which I got at the same time as I got her, and I’m breeding him to solid black hens only. I’m hoping to have the cuckoo pattern become more distinguished

I think that black would overpower the cuckoo. The chicks might be blue or will probably be black.

Cuckoo is a dominant gene, so it would not be overpowered by black. The chicks couldn’t be blue unless one of the parents were blue or splash.
If the rooster has two copies of the cuckoo gene, he’ll pass on one copy to all of his offspring with the black hen. If he only has one copy, he’ll pass on one copy to half of his offspring.

I’m not a silkie expert, but I’ve read that it’s really hard to get both black skin and the cuckoo gene on a silkie. I could be wrong. If this is true, then she’s a pure silkie, but just a variety that is a work in progress.

Looks like a cuckoo silky project bird. @Johnny17 has posted great pictures.

I read online to breed the cuckoo rooster to solid black hens and like you said he should pass on the cuckoo gene
