Hello! I recently got this cage for my parakeets and I'm wondering if it is a good and suitable cage for t

hem?

Oh just noticed this is your image... I'd definitely say needs more perches! Natural shaped perches are best
And with all that room you can definitely fit more toys... foraging toys are good... I'd also advise against plastic food bowls though... they're a lot tougher to clean compared to ceramics
Edit: also... put the paper above the bars... prevents leg injuries...

And as to adding more perches and toys I definitely will definitely add more later its just rhat they used to live in a smaller cage than now, so I could fit less stuff. also, you said to put the paper above the bars? Isn't it suppose to be above the bars so they wouldn't touch their droppings with their feet?

I just change frequently... my parakeet... cobalt got his foot caught between the bars and hurt his hip... it's probably rare but...

I have this cage for many years for my parakeets. The cage is perfect for them. Spacing of the bars is also good for parakeets. I have no issues with it.

I would not put more as 4 parakeets in this cage. They need space to fly from one side to the other. You will observe that they will spend most of the time in the upper section and not at the lower.
