Is this (finally) a maran egg??

I have 6 8 month old copper marans (3 blue and 3 black) who have yet to lay. Right now only my leghorns are laying and periodically an Orpington.

Today I found these. Is this dark one a BCM egg? My RIR lay brown eggs but usually not this dark.

I would say it is. I live to see my maran give us eggs. They are sooo pretty.

Teri, my bcm waited for the weather th warm up some. That's what your girls are probably doing. Mine are 7.5 months old.
