Is this normal? What should I do to fix it? (Is it also possible to guess if it’s a male or female by the photo??? Just curious)

It is possible that it has a swollen navel from possible mushy chick disease, an infection of the navel. I would disinfect with alcohol, Betadine or chlorhexidene.
