My 5 yr old peacock is sitting on various perches just seems to be staring. Is he really upset with a mouse in his house or is it something else? He pointed the mouse out to me running around yesterday. He doesn't want to bite our fingers like usual. He calls, struts his stuff, flies. In south TX. I worm quarterly with Valbazen (last month), eprinex& ivermectin (topicals), Safeguard oral. I put all in one in his water bowl yesterday. His poop is normal, not fluffed except doing this with his neck, sometimes rubbing his head on his perch. He fluffs the top of his neck & stars. I had to change his food from farmers helper ultrakibble to game feed (I add no corn racing pigeon mix, black oil sunflower seeds, no corn small dog food, ancient grains mix no corn). He ate scrambled eggs from me. He's lost a little weight, but still acceptable looking at a chart.

The air quality has been bad. Dust from west TX & smoke.

Normal 'bowing'. They do it to show the hen they are no threat and to entice grooming behavior from the hen. Foreplay. By the way, corn is no problem; it is soy, which is not healthy for peas. We feed whole corn on really cold nights to help them heat their bodies.
Good to know! Thanks! Well, I'm not his hen I hope he doesn't get confused! Lol
