Is this scaly leg mites?

My roo has had some dirty looking feet for about a month now, and it looks like he's starting to show scale damage but I can't tell if it's mites or shedding because he's still molting.

It could be the beginning of SLM. It wouldn't hurt to rub some vaseline, oil or NuStock cream up and under the scales of the legs/feet at least once a week.

Okay, I'll get some. I did bag balm a few days ago, but I wasn't sure if that's what it needed. Thank you!

Bag Balm will be o.k., just work it up under the scales of the legs/feet. Whatever you use, dirt will stick to it and make the legs look dirty.
