Is wild cucumber ok?

So i live in southern california and the other day i noticed weird vines growing around the property, and did some research to find out they are wild cucumbers. They are not edible so does that mean they are bad for my chickens? I dont want my chickens to get into them if they aren't good for them. I am going to try and get rid of it but i dont know how soon it will be. Is this something i need to do like asap? thanks.

Hello neighbor! I have them in the yard too, they were already growing when I moved in 20 yrs ago.. have not noticed any problems with chickens being around this plant.

Squirrels love the seeds of this plant though, they come seemingly from miles around when they ripen and start falling.
