One of my Cream Legbars has consistently been laying these sage green eggs with brown spots:

The breeder I got them from also raises Lavender Orpingtons and Copper Marans. I am thinking there may have been a chance “encounter” between an Orp or Maans Roo and a Legbar hen a few generations back.

Agreed. I think three or four of my hens are laying the sky blue eggs, which I like, but two or three of the hens seem to be laying green tinged eggs, including this one with the spots. It adds a little variety to the egg carton.

All my pullets have started laying except 4 and I have no clue what color those 4 will be. I have 2 mystery chickens. They're either Welsummers or Olive Eggers. I'm loving the anticipation!
