Hello everyone.

Like everyone know I've a rooster 11 months old whose comb is giant + thick + floppy .
Nowadays its summer here and we starting notice that our rooster pretty uncomfortable with comb when I bathing him I see his floppy side which cover his one eye totally getting irritated due to humid weather

The skin is thin red & irritated some ulceration is happening there as the comb is kinda heavy nd thick . .
As he's getting very irritated

My & my Mon decided to dub it
We tried earlier to dub it but as he's out beloved pet we just can't able to cut it .

And in our city there's no veterinary surgeon available .

We have all the medical support avail in our home .
Like blood stop powder
Betadine solution
Rubbing alcohol
Tea tree oil
Turmeric ointment

So a friend of friend whose working in a butcher shop we are calling as they are experience to hold the knife and in cutting we didn't want to waste 1 extra min in the dubbing process .

I'm really want to dub it In winter but as he getting so much irritated and his skin is red we decided it

Looking forward for advices
Pls

I assume he's the boy in your profile picture? Yeah. That looks irritating.

No experience with dubbing, but I'd try using a cold cloth/icepack before and after to numb the comb and help stop the bleeding.

You can also give a chicken a baby aspirin, or 1/4 of a 325 mg aspirin, ground up in a cup of water, once a day (or over the course of a day). That may help with the pain afterwards.

Good luck.
