We kind of went way over our heads in this one!Chris and I went two states away to buy an old incubator and see his family that lived close.
Here is the problem...The incubators in question were probably made before I was born(1969)and we know NOTHING about them other than it having a metal plate saying it is a model 2700!It is waaaaaaaaay different than the hovabators we have.
They are HUGE,metal and weigh about as much (I am guessing)as a volkswagon!
We bought one that works and one that needs work and two extra doors.Plus many metal&wood egg turners and three metal hatching trays!I have eggs piling up and really need to put it to use!
Can anyone help with a manual or more info??????????? I hope everyones hatches are doing well and Thank you in advance!

i have a jamesway model that hold 3,000 eggs is yours that large ? have alot of extra trays and hatchin baskets.

not sure info u need , but maybe able to help, sorry no manual for yours.

about the size of a fridge ???

Search this site for info about Leahy incubators. Some of the links there have info on Jamesway. I bet you purchased the pair that appeared on Atlanta's craigslist recently! I have heard great things about these incubators. Good luck!

Deerman,Sorry I have not replied before now but I have been hard at work trying to make this beast work!Wow Deerman yours is bigger than my beast!I am sure I could use some things in the future once I get mine up and running and sell some chicks and seb.geese as there is another one that does not have any turners or anything. And thank you for the link to Lawing.I called them and spoke to Joe and he was nice. They did not have a manual for it but... I did find out they have some parts I might need in the future. And he was nice enough to refer me to a company called Midwest Incubator.I called them and spoke to another Joe who was really, really helpful .We talked for quite a while about them and said he would ask Jerry if he had a manual but not to quit looking because if he did it might take a while as they were heading to the east coast for 1 to 3 weeks. He also warned me about the egg turners and how if they were not calibrated right it could rip off the whole top of the machine.Yikes, enough to scare me!I also talked to an older man from sunny creek farms that has an original one for a 2700 but he is charging $50 for a COPY!!!!I just don't have it right now. So my hunt goes on...I talked to another person(Ronald)at Jamesway that is trying his best to dig up one for me.He sent me a manual for a 252b but it is a lot different. So I e-mailed him again and I am (Impatiently)waiting to see if he can come up with one for the 2700.
Re:MSLewis We got it from Buthune SC.Thanks,I hope it turns out to be a good one!

Any luck with the Jamesway? We have an old manual for a 252 it might help if you have not found it yet. Also Sunny creek hatchery has all kinds of old materials. We also have three two from midwest(digital) and one from sunny creek(analog)

To theboonducks... I may be purchasing a 252 and could use that manual. I will have a better idea this weekend. Please let me know if you are willing to sell/trade it. Thanks!

I. do you still have your jamesway 252? Don´t you have extra setting egg trays that you are willing to sell. Do you still need help with the manual?

I bought a set of four 252 but 3 of them doesn´t have egg trays.

Let me know.

Best regards.
