I think we're on to something! Maybe throw a Silkie in there for the fur!
 
I've never seen a forked tail. It would definitely make the breed unique!
Right?! I was thinking like, the "plumes" on the roo's tail (the longer feathers. I really am so bad at chicken terms 🤣🤣), if over time you select ones whose long feathers are far apart so they look forked. Best doodle I can do of what I see in my head:
