He pretty much just ignores them really. He has been eyeballing them and coming close when we are all outside together, but just curious I think.
On a sad note, Daytona has been taking a turn for the worse I think. She has been on the antiinflamitories/pain meds for 3 weeks now for the egg bound issue. Her poop is getting smaller and less frequent. I dont think she is going to make it much longer. I am so sad to see this. There is nothing I can do short of a c section from the vet at $700. I just can not do that. It is not an option. 'Bird is constantly keeping an eye on her. It is so sad to see the rest of the girls caring for her, watching over her, by her side. They know. It just amazes me how much they know and care for each other. My EE will sit with her at night. She now goes to a nest box and not on a perch at night. Twice now I have seen another of my hens with her, by her side all night long. It just breaks my heart. She is just now seeming to be having a hard time with this. You can see it in her eyes. It will be so hard to put her down.
