Hiya, Linda, and welcome to BYC! :frow As for coops for chickens, we have a Coop Forum here with lots of great ideas you could look at. Many have runs too, and directions how to build them.

Quail are super fun to keep, I've kept both chickens and quail and there something about quail that have stolen my heart. You can definitely keep quail in a prefab coop set up, the birds are tiny and don't need as much equipment as chickens do. Definitely stop by our Quail Articles and do some reading, @Debbie292d has left you with the link above.
