Just some photos of the new chicken yard…

Some of you saw my post about having to move the gals since they were eating my pig alive. They got along great but were constantly pecking him causing sores so they had to go and it was worth it! Rufus is happier and content.

I have the back end of the coop in my backyard so I don’t need to enter their yard for collecting or cleaning (yes it’s a pre fab but highly modified) The ugly orange cord is to heat their water. And the pop door is on the small run part rather than the coop, so they have both spaces at night, completely secured which opens up to their huge yard.

We threw together a daytime shelter since they’re now on the windy side of the property and don’t want to be in the coop all day. I’m going to fill the bottom of it with sand soon and I put up various perches here and there. They’re loving it! My pups love to come in and help Thanks for reading, we are super happy how it turned out

Thank you. We initially got the chickens for him so we felt bad moving them. But it’s for the best.
