Keeping my birds out of the garden!

This seems like a silly question that probably doesn't have a good answer, but what are some ways you guys have kept your free range birds out of your garden? My turkeys especially have been eating my baby produce! Do scare crows actually work? Thought about getting an owl, but not sure if that would work either?

Realistically, I think the only things that would work are a fence around the garden of pens for the birds.

I put up a fence last year & they just hopped it. I'm trying dvds & I think I'm going to try to find some kind of wind chime. Hopingthe flashing & sound will deter them... we'll see
