Khaki Campbell/Welsh Harlequin and Cayugas

I have three khaki Campbell / Welsh Harlequin ducks, however they could be whole bread khaki Campbell's seeing that both drakes were on site. (I hatched these) They are 24 weeks old and I have not found any eggs yet. Being January in Indiana I am wondering if they will start laying? Or if they will wait until things warm up? I also have four female cayugas, 22 weeks.

Just curious if anyone has any insight on when these girls should start laying? They are primarily outdoors, and do not like to go in. They do have a Drake that is the khaki Campbell Welsh Harlequin mix.

I would guess pretty soon. My ducks think February is spring regardless of the temperatures. I suspect then if not sooner.

It should be soon. All depends on the light and now it is getting brighter for longer.

Of my three 7-month-old gals, only one is laying so far, and she’s only been laying for about a week. So, hang in there! I’m sure it will be soon!

Thanks everyone! My pullets are all starting to lay, so I'm getting eager for these ladies! We have a pole light near them, so everyone is getting some extra light now. It's not very bright, but I've noticed a difference since it got fixed
