Killer Rooster

He has failed in the purpose of his existence.

Just happens from time to time. My theory is these bad genetics come from human interference in selection. Nature wouldn't let those genes be perpetuated. But how many times do people today want to give roosters 2nd, 3rd, 4th chances when they attack humans or hens, so it's likely many people of the past had similar attitudes and bred it forward.

I'm confused who killed who? Also how many hens do you have? Assuming you have a ratio of around 10:1? so they're not competing for hens. So 20 hens?
He was a new rooster to replace our Mr Grey - (Plymouth Rock and a gentle rooster) - who died about 2 months ago. We have 10 hens and and always only had 1 rooster with this many hens.

I agree he is separated and will not be let back in with the other hens and definitely not be breading from him.
