Unfortunately my scovies kinda make up for the calls lack of feed usage

Tell me about it!!! When I traded scovies for calls a couple of weeks ago, that was one of my rationales.

Al's claims to have silkied ducks..... I might call today or tomorrow and just see if they will be planning to have them next season.

I figure feedwise, the scovies and calls kinda equal each other out, the Swedish and the hookbills would kinda be the same (ish, I think hookbills may be a smide lighter based off the pictures I've seen) and then the east Indians are a smaller breed too, so it's less than if I got a larger breed.

Silkies, I'm honestly not sure where I'll put them, but if I have the option of getting them, I will and I'll just have to figure it out

I really like them. Kinda like a duck version of a Sebastopol in my opinion

Looks like there are a lot of possibilities for hookbills now, just by browsing sale ads

Got shavings yesterday, if it's warm enough, I want to put some in the duck pens that are being used. It was cold and rainy all day yesterday ducks had a blast, chickens not so much
