Lavender Orpington roo?

Hi!
I have this little guy.. girl? Has some very odd feather growth compared to the other chicks I have, they all have wing growth and tail feathers. Is the feather growth normal or is there something going on with it?

Too early to tell gender. The feather growth is normal. For some reason, the lavender color often produces birds with shredded looking feathers. In here we call it the shredder gene. As far as I know, no one is really sure what causes it.
